I. PASSING, the word
There are numerous definitions of the term passing. Research your own and then check out this one from Oxford English Dictionary, "To go away, leave, depart; esp. to go away from (†of) a place, thing, or person. Of a thing: to be taken away or removed (from) (archaic)."
